Our Best Answer - What is the difference between in-state and out-of-state residency?

Triton College students are classified as in-district, out-of-district, and out-of-state students based on the town, village, or state they reside in.  Triton College is the community college for District 504 and students who live within the 504 district will be considered in-district.  Students who reside out of the 504 district will be considered out-of-district and students who live outside of the state of Illinois will be considered out-of-state.
